The Original HIWIN HGR65R is a size 65 top-mounting profile rail for the HIWIN HG Series heavy-load ball-type linear guideway. This page is specifically for the rail-only product. Guide blocks, mounting bolts, cover caps and other accessories are not included unless they are separately listed in the quotation or order confirmation.
HGR65R is the largest standard HGR-R rail size in the HG Series range covered by this product family. Its 63 mm rail width, 53 mm rail height and approximate weight of 21.18 kg per meter make it suitable for large machine axes requiring a substantial rail cross-section, high guideway rigidity and stable support under demanding load and moment conditions.
The rail can be combined with official HG65 square or flange guide blocks. The correct block structure and block length must be selected according to the machine mounting platform, assembly space, load direction, permissible moment and rigidity requirement of the complete guideway.
HGR65R should not be ordered from nominal size alone. Before quotation, confirm the complete rail code, overall length, mounting direction, mounting-hole layout, end distances, accuracy grade, matching block model, block quantity and preload requirement.

The dimensions above apply to the HGR65R rail fastened from above. HGR65T is a separate bottom-mounting rail configuration with a different mounting-hole structure and must not be treated as the same rail type.
Dynamic load rating, static load rating and permissible moment depend on the selected HG65 guide block and the complete rail-and-block assembly. These ratings are not independent performance values of the loose HGR65R rail.

HG65 block availability must not be inferred from smaller HG sizes. HGL65 and HGW65CA, HGW65HA, HGW65CB or HGW65HB are not included on this page because they have not been confirmed as official HGR65R matching models.
The confirmed accuracy codes for an interchangeable HGR65R rail are C, H and P. C is the normal accuracy grade, H is the high accuracy grade and P is the precision grade.
The rail accuracy must correspond to the matching blocks and the required running accuracy of the complete guideway. Selecting a higher grade does not compensate for an uneven machine base, inaccurate reference shoulder or incorrect parallel alignment.
The confirmed preload codes for interchangeable HG65 guideways are Z0 and ZA. Z0 is the light-preload class used for general motion and lower-impact operating conditions. ZA is the medium-preload class used where increased rigidity and more controlled elastic displacement are required.
Preload is created by the relationship between the guide block, rail and rolling elements. It is not an independent property of a loose rail. The rail-only attribute therefore indicates the preload codes applicable to a compatible interchangeable guideway assembly.
ZB is the heavy-preload class for non-interchangeable assemblies matched as complete rail-and-block sets. A ZB requirement must be quoted as a complete guideway assembly with the rail quantity, block quantity, accuracy grade and matching arrangement confirmed together.
Confirm the required overall rail length from the approved machine drawing. Rail length is not the same as usable travel. The required length depends on the number and length of blocks, spacing between blocks, travel requirement, overtravel allowance, end clearance and mechanical stop arrangement.
HGR65R uses a 150 mm mounting-hole pitch and a standard reference end distance of 35 mm. For a custom-cut rail, confirm the first and last mounting-hole positions before processing. State whether equal end distances are required or whether the rail must match an existing machine-base hole pattern.
Published standard lengths include 1270, 1570, 2020 and 2620 mm. Non-standard lengths and longer rails can be reviewed up to the official maximum length, but final availability, processing tolerance and lead time must be confirmed for the complete order code.
Where the required axis length exceeds practical one-piece supply, a jointed rail arrangement may be reviewed. Joint locations, matched identification marks, installation sequence and mounting-base alignment must be defined before production. A jointed arrangement should not automatically be treated as equivalent to a one-piece rail for every precision requirement.
Because HGR65R is a large and heavy profile rail, the machine builder should confirm lifting access, rail positioning and mounting-base support before installation. The reference shoulder and mounting surfaces must be capable of supporting the selected accuracy and preload of the complete guideway.
Standard surface condition and optional corrosion-resistant treatment must be confirmed through the complete order code. Do not assume stainless steel or a special coating unless it is explicitly identified in the quotation.
