CNC machining centers require micron-level linear accuracy. Even minor mounting or lubrication issues can cause chatter marks, noise, or positional drift.

HIWIN Linear Guides—especially HG or QH series—offer four-direction load design and high rigidity to resist moment loads. Keep mounting flatness within 0.02 mm/m, and set preload (Z0, Z1, Z2) correctly to avoid excessive friction.

Use centralized grease lubrication with HIWIN G05 or equivalent, replenished every 500 hours. For continuous high-speed operation, an automatic lubricator is recommended.

Monitor sliding resistance regularly; if variation exceeds 10%, inspect bolts and ball raceways immediately. Proper preload + alignment = long-term CNC accuracy.
